Frespanol has erased memories of his last trip to the Sunshine Coast with victory in the open handicap, a race deferred from the Doomben wash-out. Cheap Air Jordan Canada .The 1350m-race abandoned on Saturday was added to what was already a 12--race program on Wednesday with many of the runners being prepared for upcoming summer features.Ridden by Jim Byrne, former Sydney-trained Frespanol ($10) scored by a short head to Jopa ($9) on Wednesday with a half length to third-placed Harada Bay ($8).The last time Frespanol headed to the Sunshine Coast in April he was in a float which rolled down an embankment on the Bruce Highway and he spent 40 minutes trapped inside.Frespanol and the three other horses on the truck escaped serious injury but he missed the winter carnival.Trainer Tony Gollan, who is in New Zealand for a horse sale, said by phone the win had come as no surprise and Frespanol had improved with each race this campaign. He was good first-up and then had no luck at all second-up when caught deep, Gollan said.He is a nice horse and he will now run in the Recognition Stakes at Eagle Farm on Saturday week. After that he will chase the feature races such as the Lough Neagh and Bernborough Stakes in the summer.Gollan said Frespanol owed him a win in a stakes race from his days when the gelding was trained in Sydney. He actually beat me in a stakes race when Gai Waterhouse trained him. My mare Tornado Miss ran second to him in the 2015 Spear Chief Stakes at Doomben, Gollan said.I do think he will be even fitter next time so the stakes race might be soon.Group Two winner Rudy lost no friends when he came from third last to finish fifth. Air Jordan Canada Online . Kyle Denbrook, a soccer player from Saint Marys University, took the CIS male athlete of the week honour. Stanley, a fourth-year business administration student from Charlottetown, scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Dalhousie on Friday and tallied again in a 1-0 win over Saint Marys on Sunday. Air Jordan Canada Store . Clarke was injured while practicing on the Doha Golf Club range after the pro-am on Tuesday. The Northern Irishman arrived at the course on Wednesday hoping to start, but after hitting a few balls on the practice putting green Clarke advised officials he was not fit to play. http://www.cheapairjordancanada.com/ . Pirlo limped out of Sundays 1-0 win over Udinese after just 13 minutes. Juventus says Pirlo underwent tests on Monday which revealed he has "a second-degree lesion to the collateral medial ligament in his right knee. Losing a top-line winger for up to four months is not the way a hockey team or fantasy hockey team wants to start the season. Jonathan Huberdeau, the still-developing young leader of the Florida Panthers, is out three to four months after being cut on the ankle in a game on Saturday. Its devastating for a Panthers top line that has been dominant ever since Jaromir Jagr joined Huberdeau and Aleksander Barkov at the 2015 trade deadline.Normally wed say this was a bummer for Huberdeau owners, but that they can run out and get Nick Bjugstad and everything will be OK until Huberdeau heals up. Unfortunately, the Panthers also announced that Bjugstad will be out for the first month of the season with a broken hand. This is not a great start for the Panthers.Bjugstad would have been the likely choice to leapfrog the second line of Jussi Jokinen, Vincent Trocheck and Reilly Smith, as they have too much chemistry to bust them up for an injury replacement. Instead, at least for now, Jonathan Marchessault - a new Panthers forward, who joins them from the Tampa Bay Lightning - finished Saturdays game on the top line. Unless the team finds a different solution, expect Marchessault to open the campaign next to Barkov and Jagr, giving him a shot at deep-league value if you are in need of a forward. However, only deep-league fantasy owners will need to look internally at the Panthers for a replacement, as there are bound to be better options available. Just dont forget to look for Bjugstad in November, as Huberdeau will still have at least two months on the shelf at that point and Bjugstad is a former 24-goal scorer who would thrive with a chance on the top line again. At the same time, fantasy owners have to remember not to panic when there isnt enough decision to make a clear decision with an injury. While the Panthers announced that Huberdeau would be out a specific amount of time, all we know about Sidney Crosby is that he has a concussion. He might be ready for the start of the season this week; he might miss time, as he did in 2011 and 2012. We just dont know. While Huberdeau can be downgraded in our rankings, Crosby gets to maintain his elite position because he very well could be just fine.Yes, its a bit scary for his owners, especially any who had him on the roster through his issues in the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, when he played only 63 games of a possible 163. But with the only confirmed news that Crosby has a concussion, we shouldnt overreact. If this turns into an ongoing issue, it should be clear that Evgeni Malkin vaults into the top five fantasy producers if Crosby is off the ice for an extended period of time. Thats what happened last time, when Malkin exploded for 50 goals, 109 points and more shots than Alex Ovechkin in the 2011-12 season.Forwards rising and fallingTaylor Hall, LW, New Jersey Devils (up 16 spots to No. 40): Things were a mess in Edmonton, and they are slowly being cleaned up, but there is no denying that Hall played for some bad teams. In going over the projections for the season again, Hall seems way too low. Given that he is just two seasons removed from a 27-goal, 80-point campaign (in 75 games, no less) on what was a bad Oilers team, the ceiling should be a bit higher for a winger that will be motivated to prove he is a dynamic scorer in the NHL. The chemistry boost from joining his former junior hockey linemate Adam Henrique, who is coming off a career-best season, should only help fuel Hall toward new career highs.Milan Lucic, LW, Edmonton Oilers (up 27 spots to No. 63): Speaking of new faces in new places who continue to shine as we are given more time to reflect, Lucic is going to be a beast playing regularly with Connor McDavid. By all accounts, winging the franchise center is going to be Lucics full-time gig in Edmonton. Lucic has played with an array of different linemates throughout his career, including Tyler Seguin before he was a star, veteran Jerome Iginla and -- in his best season -- with Nathan Horton and David Krejci in Boston. None of them stack up to McDavid. If you are expecting the routine 20 goals and 55 points from Lucic again this season, hes going to be a pleasant surprise.Tomas Tatar, LW, Detroit Red Wings (up 13 spots to No. 164): Spotted skating alongside Frans Nielsen and Henrik Zetterberg in the preseason, Tatar is due for a rebound this campaign. He regressed from his 29-goal season from 2014-15, depositing only 21 goals last season as both he and Gustav Nyquist struggled. Separating the pair of young forwards is likely a good thing for both of them, and if Tatar gets to spend time with Zetterberg and Nielsen, he has great opportunity to bounce back with 30 goals. The veteran Nielsen found a way to consistently set up 30 goals a season with the New York Islanders, while Zetterberg still has some gas left in the tank at 36. Even if this line doesnt stay together, World Cup star Tatar will be a key cog in the Red Wings offense that needs to find a new way to generate points in the post-Pavel Datsyuk era.Nail Yakupov, RW, St. Louis Blues (up 13 spots to No. 186): A fresh start for Yakupov, who looked nothing like a first-overall draft pick in his four seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, is the most important outcome of his trade. It doesntt matter who his linemates are or how much ice time hell get, Yakupov gets to hit the reset button on a career that has made him look like a bust so far. Air Jordan Canada. Hes a painful minus-88 after four seasons, which shows the aspect of his game that he needs to work on. Coach Ken Hitchcock says hell bring Yakupov along slowly, teaching what needs to be taught as they go. But the Blues have some strong defensive-minded forwards, and may be able to allow Yakupov the freedom hes needed to attack more. Yakupov will find a role on at least the third line to start, but there is enough upside here to add him to your bench at the start of the season. Hitchcock is a fan of chemistry trumping raw talent, as evidenced by Jori Lehtera never leaving the top line. If Yakupov develops chemistry with fellow Russian (and scoring dynamo) Vladimir Tarasenko, he could get a chance to play with him at some point.Charlie Coyle, LW, Minnesota Wild (enters at No. 189): At first just a suggestion that it could happen, now it appears Coyle is a lock to open the campaign on the Wilds top line with Zach Parise and Eric Staal. We shouldnt have to highlight the offensive potential of his linemates here, but it should be noted that Coyle had 21 goals and 21 helpers last season while moving up and down the lineup. His potential is much greater than that on a consistent top line skating for new coach Bruce Boudreau.Defensemen rising and fallingKevin Shattenkirk, D, St. Louis Blues (up 26 spots to No. 79): Like Lucic or Hall, this rise in the rankings is a reflection of just having a closer look at Shattenkirks career arc. His production had been on a general upward trend until Shattenkirk absolutely exploded on a points-per-game basis in 2014-15. Losing time to injury, Shattenkirk had 44 points in 56 games with 25 power-play points that season. Then last season, while playing 72 games, Shattenkirk virtually matched his production from the season prior, while playing 16 additional games. So is Shattenkirk really on the downswing at the age of 27? Or did he have a down season in 2015-16 and is going to come closer to his monster 2014-15 season? Given the strength of this team overall and Shattenkirks peripheral stats staying fairly steady, we think he has a shot of being a No. 1 fantasy defenseman this season. But there is risk, so well still suggest taking him as a No. 2.Ivan Provorov, D, Philadelphia Flyers (up 27 spots to No. 206): Already a trendy preseason sleeper as the best puck-moving defenseman on the Flyers roster from a skills perspective, Provorovs chances to establish himself just got a lot better with news that Michael Del Zotto will miss the first month of the season. Del Zotto transformed himself into a major minutes-muncher for the Flyers last season, so Provorov will have extended time to make an impact during October. We have him ranked as a No. 5 defenseman right now, but thats because there is always a chance hes not ready yet. If he shows well in the early going, hell be a fast riser in the ranks.Nathan Beaulieu, D, Montreal Canadiens (enters at No. 246): With a goal and seven assists in the preseason, Beaulieu is making quite the case to stick with Shea Weber on the Habs first pairing to start the season. The opportunity for fantasy production should be quite obvious, as Weber plays some big minutes and has a controlling presence in the offensive zone. Beaulieu always had offensive potential, displaying it en route to a Memorial Cup in 2011 during his junior hockey career. It didnt translate immediately to the pros, but Beaulieu also had some off-ice issues. Hes still only 23 years old and already has made appearances with the Canadiens for parts of the past four seasons. This could be a breakthrough season for Beaulieu if he can saddle up to Weber and hold on for dear life.Goaltenders rising and fallingCam Talbot, G, Edmonton Oilers (up six spots to No. 179): Already featuring an upgraded defense with the addition of Adam Larsson and better back-checking by virtue of not having Nail Yakupov and his NHL-worst minus-84 over the past three seasons, the Oilers added shot-blocking machine Kris Russell to the defense this past week. While Yakupov had the lowest plus/minus in the NHL for the past three seasons, Russell had the most blocked shots. Thats the kind of personnel change that makes you feel better about the goaltender. We still have him ranked outside of the starters for a two-goalie, 12-team league, but just barely. Talbot is a great No. 3 fantasy goaltender to take, especially if you lack confidence in your first two.Top 250 rankingsHere are the updated rest-of-season, top 250 rankings of forwards, defensemen and goalies, including position ranks. Last week refers to the mid-summer rankings update, which occurred after free agency and the draft.Note: Sean Allens top 250 players are ranked for their expected performance in ESPN standard leagues from this point on. ESPN standard stats include goals, assists, power-play points, shots on goal, plus/minus, penalty minutes and average time on ice for skaters, and wins, goals-against average and save percentage for goalies.
