The Ravens acquired Montgomery from the Green Bay Packers just before last season’s trade deadline, giving up a 2020 7th-round draft pick in exchange. In six games with Baltimore, Montgomery rushed 15 times for 83 yards, while also catching 10 passes for 65 yards. Montgomery didn’t see many opportunities behind Gus Edwards and Kenneth Dixon on the depth chart, although he did jump Javorius Allen in the pecking order upon arriving in Baltimore. While Montgomery didn’t put up lofty numbers during his stint with the Ravens, some thought the team would look to re-sign him for depth purposes. Montgomery also brings some value as a return man on special teams Stitched Robert Griffin Jersey , as well as a receiving threat out of the backfield. He’s solid in pass protection, too. The acquisition of Mark Ingram, however, mitigates most of what the Ravens lose in Montgomery’s departure. Along with Montgomery, the Jets also poached former Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley, who they signed to a record-breaking contract early in free agency. On top of that, they ousted the Ravens in the sweepstakes for running back Le’Veon Bell, whom Montgomery will now backup in New York. The NFL has yet to release the official regular season schedule for 2019-20 Youth Robert Griffin Jersey , but we know the Ravens will play host to New York at some point in the year. Given these moves they’ve made in free agency, it will certainly be an interesting matchup when the Jets come to town. Perhaps the best playmaker in this draft class, Brown will bring elite run after the catch ability to Baltimore. He has some size and durability concerns, yet his upside is immense. Eric DeCosta’s first pick as general manager fills the most pressing need on the roster with the top wideout in the class. - Vasilis Lericos<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="PZpSsD">Eric DeCosta chose to trade back with his old buddy Eagles GM Howie Roseman for the second consecutive year in the first round. At pick 25, Hollywood Brown gives the Ravens their one missing link in the receiver room. He can beat the press and take the top off the defense, and no other current receiver on the roster can do either of those consistently. Brown can be compared to a young Desean Jackson. Coming off an injury Stitched Jordan Lasley Jersey , hopefully he’s ready to go sooner rather than later. Brown is from the same area as Lamar Jackson, which should help them build great chemistry.- Spencer Schultz<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="oXY3zQ">The track team is coming together. Brown is a home run hitter with comparisons to Desean Jackson and should in fit well with Lamar Jackson. A trade back into this scenario was ideal,and I have to say I’m very impressed with Eric DeCosta’s initial first round as the Ravens GM. - Jake Louque<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="gU3iUQ">Marquise Brown wouldn’t have been my first choice at wideout, but he’ll definitely bring much needed speed and big play ability to the Ravens offense. Brown can consistently beat press coverage and separate from defenders, which can’t be said for almost all receivers on the roster currently. He’s also an underrated route-runner. Overall, solid value after trading back three spots to address a glaring need at wide receiver. - Frank J. Platko<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="G102Kk">Eric DeCosta looks to change the Ravens history of drafting poor receivers. With no true WR1 on the team, Marquise Brown has the opportunity to make a splash out the gate and help Lamar Jackson in his sophomore campaign. Grabbing arguably the draft’s best receiver at 25 is a huge value, given it is the latest the position has come off the board in NFL history.-Sage Morander<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="rNbluU">Brown is a high risk Youth Jordan Lasley Jersey , high reward pick. With blazing 4.3 speed and an elite run-after-the-catch ability, “Hollywood” is a legit game-breaking threat who could take it to the house on any given play. The biggest concern for Brown is his size (166 pounds) and recent Lisfranc injury. DeCosta chose to supply his young quarterback Lamar Jackson with a potentially dangerous weapon, and Ravens fans should be happy about that. - Dustin Cox<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="U7zkSh">Selecting a wide receiver or offensive lineman in the first round was the ideal move. DeCosta also mentioned they traded down with the hopes of Brown still being on the board at 25. While they liked him enough at 22, the Ravens brilliantly acquired extra picks while still getting their guy in the process. As for Brown, I’m excited to see Hollywood break the curse of receivers not panning out in Baltimore. His speed, hands and playmaking ability should be exciting to watch for years to come. - Kyle Barber
